जालंधर:- राज्य में ड्रग्स के खिलाफ चलाई गई मुहिम के तहत आज जालंधर पुलिस के हाथ बड़ी कामयाबी लगी है। शहर में पड़ते थाना नं. 8 की टीम ने भारी मात्रा में नशीला पदार्थ पकड़ा है। पुलिस ने दो आरोपियों से करीब 5 किलो अफीम व अन्य नशीला पदार्थ बरामद किया है।
आरोपियों की पहचान विनय व अवधेश के रूप में हुई है, जो झारखंड के रहने वाले हैं। मामले संबंधी जानकारी देते सी.पी. ने कहा कि थाना 8 की टीम ने 2 आरोपियों को पकड़ा है, जिनके कब्जे से करीब 5 किलो अफीम व अन्य नशीला पदार्थ बरामद हुआ है, जिसके बाद दोनों आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है और आगे की तफ्तीश जारी है, ताकि यह पता लगाया जा सके कि आरोपी यह नशे की खेप कहां लेकर जाने वाले थे और इनके साथ अन्य कौन-कौन से नशा तस्कर संलिप्त हैं।
