लुधियाना(गगन मेहरा/शुभम मित्तल):- शहर में चोरी के मामले थमने का नाम नहीं ले रहे। दरअसल, घर के बाहर ही स्कूटरी में चाबी लगी छोड़कर महिला परिवार वालों से बात कर रही थी। इसी दौरान महिला के पीठ पीछे से सरेआम उसकी एक्टिवा लेकर चोर फरार हो गया। महिला को पता ही नहीं चला कब राह चलता एक चोर उनके सामने ही उनकी स्कूटी चुराकर ले गया। महिला जब पलटी तो उसे स्कूटरी गायब थी। परिवार वालों ने जब घटना स्थल के नजदीक लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरे चेक किए तो इस दौरान वहां से एक चोर एक्टिवा चुराकर जाता दिखाई दिया।
महिला के पिता मनजीतपाल की शिकायत पर थाना डिवीजन नंबर 2 की पुलिस ने अज्ञात के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया है। मनजीत पाल सिंह ने बताया कि उसकी पत्नी और बेटी एक्टिवा से इस्लामगंज गए हुए थे। उन्होंने वापस आकर एक्टिवा को सड़क किनारे खड़ा कर दिया और अपने एक रिश्तेदार से बातचीत करने लगे। महिलाएं स्कूटी से चाबी निकालना भूल गईं। इसी दौरान एक युवक वहां आया और महिलाओं को बिना बताए स्कूटी भगाकर ले गया। थाना डिवीजन नंबर 2 की एसएचओ इंस्पेक्टर अर्शप्रीत कौर ने कहा कि आरोपी इलाके में लगे सीसीटीवी में कैद हो गया है। पुलिस आरोपियों की पहचान करने का प्रयास कर रही है। आरोपी को जल्द गिरफ्तार कर लिया जाएगा।
