पंजाब भर में हुई बारिश से बाढ़ जैसी स्थिति बनी पड़ी है। जिसको देखते हुए कई जगह पर रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन चलाकर लोगों को घरों से बाहर सुरक्षित जगहों पर पहुंचाया जा रहा है। इस रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन में जहां संस्थाएं आगे आई हैं। वही आर्मी के जवान भी पूरी तरह से डटे हुए हैं और लोगों की मदद कर रहे हैं। लेकिन इसके चलते हैं कई जगह पर अभी तक भी कोई मदद के लिए प्रशासन नहीं पहुंचा है। ऐसा ही एक मामला जालंधर शाहकोट के गांव मुंडी चोलिया से सामने आया है। जहां एक 22 से 23 वर्षीय युवक जिसका नाम अर्शदीप बताया जा रहा है।
गांव में स्थित श्री गुरुद्वारा साहिब के ग्रंथि कुलदीप सिंह ने बताया कि वह सोमवार की रात को अपने मोटरसाइकिल पर घर का कुछ जरूरी सामान लेने के लिए निकला था। लेकिन जब अपने घर की और वापस लौट रहा था कि तभी पानी का तेज बहाव आया। जिसमें वह मोटरसाइकिल सहित उस पानी मे बहने लग पड़ा। जिसको देखते ही आसपास के कुछ युवक उसकी मदद के लिए आगे आए। लेकिन उन लोगों के हाथ में मोटरसाइकिल तो आ गया,लेकिन वह युवक उस पानी में ही बह गया। जिसका अभी तक कुछ पता नहीं चल पाया है। वहीं कुलदीप सिंह ने यह भी कहा कि अभी तक कोई भी प्रशासन का कोई भी अधिकारी यहां पर नहीं पहुंचा है। कई लोग गांव के अंदर अभी भी पैसे पड़े हैं इनकी मदद के लिए हमारे पास कोई भी ऐसा साधन नहीं है कि पानी में जाकर उनको खाने पीने की वस्तुएं दी जा सके
