जालंधर कैंट(राहुल अग्रवाल): जालंधर लोकसभा उपचुनाव में कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी करमजीत कौर चौधरी के लिए प्रचार करते हुए कांग्रेस नेता नवजोत सिंह सिद्धू जालंधर कैंट पहुंचे। जिन्होंने मोहल्ला नंबर 30 स्थित भगवान वाल्मीकि मंदिर में माथा टेका। इस मौके पर अश्विनी कुमार हंस ने उनका स्वागत किया और नवजोत सिद्धू को भगवान वाल्मीकि जी का चित्र देकर सम्मानित किया।
इस दौरान हलका विधायक परगट सिंह और कई कांग्रेसी नेता प्रचार करने हेतु रैली करते हुए कैंट का भ्रमण किया। इस मौके पर प्रधान अश्विनी कुमार हंस, प्रधान भारत बत्रा, संजीव निश्चल, हरप्रीत सिंह भसीन, जगमोहन सिंह जोगा, राज कुमार राजा, अवतार महाजन व अन्य उपस्थित रहे।
