दिल्ली में पीएम मोदी की अध्यक्षता में NDA की बैठक हुई। इस बैठक में भारतीय जनता पार्टी (BJP) समेत 38 दलों ने हिस्सा लिया। बैठक के बाद पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि सभी नेताओं ने एनडीए को मजबूती देने का काम किया है। पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि एक तरह से NDA अटल जी की एक ओर विरासत है जो हमें जोड़े हुए है। NDA के निर्माण में आडवाणी जी ने भी बहुत अहम भूमिका निभाई थी और वो आज भी हमारा मार्गदर्शन कर रहे हैं। हाल ही में NDA के गठन के 25 साल पूरे हुए हैं, ये 25 वर्ष देश की प्रगति को गति देने और क्षेत्रीय आकांक्षाओं को पूरा करने के रहे हैं।
NDA के 25 साल पूरे होने पर मोदी ने कहा- NDA में N का मतलब न्यू इंडिया है, D का मतलब डेवलप्ड नेशन यानी विकसित राष्ट्र ओर A का अर्थ है एस्पिरेशन यानी लोगों की आकांक्षा है। आज युवा, महिलाएं, मध्यम वर्ग, दलित और वंचितों को NDA पर भरोसा है।
पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि हम जब विपक्ष में थे तब भी हमने सकारात्मक राजनीति की, हमने कभी नकारात्मक राजनीति नहीं की। हमने विपक्ष में रहकर सरकारों का विरोध किया, उनके घोटालों को सामने लाए लेकिन जनादेश का अपमान नहीं किया और न ही विदेशी ताकतों की मदद मांगी।
